Hello. I’m glad you’ve stopped by, because it probably means I can help you with your current dilemma.
So, my name is Kim Morris and I am a psychotherapist and coach. My practice uses integrative therapies to help you in various ways, but before I get all technical on you the most important element for you to know is that I work with kindness, compassion and a gentle curiosity as to what might be possible for you, both in the present moment and going forward in your life.
These threads are woven through the heart of all your sessions with me.
Integrative Therapies simply means various types of therapies are available to use in an interchanging and appropriate way during the sessions. Depending on what the moment calls for. Like a good old toolkit.
We all learn and research differently, so if you would like a further explanation of those therapies please click the tiles below. Scroll to the bottom to see more specific services I offer or head over to How I Work to gain an overall picture.
Developed by American psychologist Carl Rodgers in the 1940s who believed that in the right conditions a person can reach ‘self-actualisation’.
The key thing to note here is that you do not have to come to therapy as a family. It is a brilliant exploration for the individual.
This therapy uses guided dramatic actions and is used with groups, couples or clients on a one to one basis.
A phrase coined by the German psychiatrist and psychotherapist Friedrich Salomon Perls (known as Fritz). He and his wife, Laura Perls, developed this approach in the 1940, 50s and thereafter.
Transpersonal therapy was first introduced in the 1960s by psychologists such as Abraham Maslow and Victor Frankl, and can be combined with the other therapies I offer in my practice.

This is a service specifically for people who have experienced pregnancy, baby or infant loss. I work with Lighthouses Therapy Services who specialise in this area and offer support in the form of one to one sessions, couples sessions and group online retreats, usually over a three month period.
I offer this service for men and women over the age of 35 as the big Four Oh!!! comes into view. I know by thirty-five you're not quite at the mid-life point yet, but that mid-decade point can be confusing if you're feeling a lack of direction and not quite where you expected to be at this age.
Our pets are a huge part of family and losing our fury friends can leave a big hole in our lives in a way that only other pet parents can identify with. It’s an area that can be often overlooked and we may feel like we just have to ‘get on with it’. Which is just too hard when we see their collar, bowl or hutch.
